Shannon Richardson, Images for Critique, 4/27/2013

This week's assignment is a continuation of last week, so my artist is still Susan Worsham.  I went back to the artist's website to review her photos and noticed that some of the images have a strange placement of produce (mostly fruit) in the image.  The more time I spent reviewing the artist's work, the easier it was to complete the assignment.  While looking through the artist portfolios, I was able to pick out two distinct features/characteristics of two pieces of work in particular.  In my opinion "By The Grace of God" had more of an "urban" feel to it.  Many of the images were within a landscape and seemed to have something that was out of place (like a large object), or were portraits within a landscape. "Some Fox Trails in Virginia" featured a lot of images that contained fruit, vegetables, and bread (some of which were molding).  There were also pictures of pictures with objects on top of or around the images (such as microscope slides).
