Jill Treat, 4-7-13, Images for Critique
The above photos are inspired by the work of Raymond Meeks the "2 Solitudes". When I look at his photos in that gallery I see mainly black and white landscape photos specifically of secluded trees. The portraits in "2 Solitudes" are mainly of people by themselves in nature looking away from the photographer as if they are unaware that anyone is around them. I feel that portraits that are unplanned are most likley to tell the best story. I really like black and white photos because they seem least distracting and you can focus on the main object that is being photographed.
