Harry O. Johnson, 4/28/2013, Images for critique.

This week my I based my images for critique post on Brian Ulrich.   I decided to emulate him because

I wanted to see if people would notice that they are being photographed, or will I be escorted out of the

places where I was photographing. I was really surprised when neither of these things occurred. When I

started out I was really uncomfortable, because I thought I would immediately become the center of

attention.  As I started photographing I realized the shutter sound made people stare at me. I then set

my camera to quiet mode, and tried not to use my camera's view finder. I think I worked fairly well

due to the fact that I did not get approached by anyone at all. The five images were shot with out using

the viewfinder, while my camera was on silent. They were captured at Starbucks,Moe's Southwestern

grill, The New Balance store, and Barnes and Noble bookstore. This one assignment made me fully

understand Brian Ulrich when he stated: " As American we are truly a nation of consumers".
