Alex Clark, 4/8/13, Images for Critique

The task of capturing 250 images this week was simple.  I primarily snapped photographs from around my house.  The two images were inspired by Raymond Meek's 2 Solitudes.  The first image is a portrait and possesses an older man with a serious expression on his face.  The man appears to have dark brown hair, blue eyes, glasses, and a white shirt.  He also seems to be looking at something in the other room.  The door to the other room is open, which allows the man to see into the room.  This image can represent a somewhat gloomy and dark future for the man, since he appears to have a stern and hard-looking expression upon his face.

The second image is a landscape and has a clear picture of a small tree.  The tree appears to be a young tree.  In addition, older and taller trees are behind the small sapling, while the sun brightly shines in the distance.  Next to the tree appears to be two blades of grass.  This landscape photograph can represent youth and the beginning of life, since there is a sapling in the picture.  The shining sun can represent a bright future, while the older trees in the background could possibly represent what the young sapling will be in the future.
