 The above image I chose because my dogs sit in front of my window all the time and just stare outside. It's always funny to see the way they react to certain people/things out in the street. The extreme contrast of the image is visually interesting and well balanced.

This image I chose because I like the use of depth of field. At first glance I didn't think anything of it, and when I enlarged the image I noticed that the dog's eyes are what is in focus. I like the use of black and white in both of the images.
