The artist I chose to post this week is Dr. R. Kallol. He is actually a doctor who is a photographer in his spare time. I chose these pictures for a number of reasons. The three shots were obviously produced using some of the techniques of changing aperture and shutter speed that we discussed in class this week. Boys on a bicycle can be cliche, but with the background blurred out, this picture seems almost 3-D and I think this picture is not cliche. The drop of water from the bottle and the boat, boy and rolling horizon are interesting shots that again used techniques we are learning. They are not cliche.
