Miranda Moriarty, 1.13.13, Image for Critique

Taking a meaningful photograph can have a different meaning to all of us. Everyone is different, everyone finds beauty and meaning in different things. For me, taking a "meaningful" photograph is finding beauty in ordinary things, and photographing it to express that beauty in a way that causes others to see what I do. Everyone's taste is different, everyone's point of view is different. I believe that a meaningful photograph, if executed right, can overcome those differences and help people to see things on the same level. This photo has a different meaning to all of us. For me,  it is a metaphor for all of us looking down on our lives and contemplating where we are, and where we want to be.
