I chose these two images because they represent the nature of the working class individual. One who feels trapped and confined in the world he or she has tread. The first image represents the emotion of wanting to climb out of the rut that individual has become secluded to, that schedule of 9 to 5 everyday, fake embrace of true conversation, constant stress, eating, and sleeping; cycled throughout the week until that hint of freedom we call " the weekend" rolls around the corner. That individual knows there is something more, wondering on past dreams and a life that could be. The second image represents the idea of "the machinist". Machinist being the individual who has accepted this is all they will ever be. Nothing less or more, questioning is preposterous; A realist with work and the tangible things taking control over what really is detrimental to their existence.
