I chose these photos because they represent to me the beauty of a night sky in Alaska. These types of images can only really be captured in places up north like Alaska, due to the air being much thinner/cleaner up there and the high elevations in the mountains. The first photo is simple, clean, and clear and I love that about it. It doesn't have much work done to it in post because that is the natural beauty of the Aurora Borealis. The second photo shows a little more technique involved, most likely setting up a tri-pod and leaving the shutter open for an hour or two, but still not much done in post (small enhancements here and there). I like how much of his editing is done through his camera he makes sure he has a clean photo to work with, which eliminates work for himself. (shooting raw)
