This picture was taken at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Orlando, Florida. When I left the shop pictured in the background, I saw this lady sitting on the bench by herself. After some brief small talk, I asked her if I could take her picture for my photography class. At first she seemed a little bit hesitant, but then decided to let me photograph her. She quickly relaxed and gave me this lovely smile. After the picture was taken, she told me her visit to Disney was to watch her son perform in the parade. He plays the trumpet and aspires to be a herpetologist. It quickly became evident she adores her son and is very, very proud of him. She also shared she recently left Univision where she was the lead controller in the production booth. It was very interesting to talk to someone who knows the photography/film industry in this manner. I really enjoyed this assignment as I love meeting new people and hearing "their" story.
