Harry Johnson, 1/13/2013, Image for Critique. REDO
A meaningful picture is so much deeper than properly utilizing the fundamentals of exposure.(I.E,
Proper ISO, Shutter speed, aperture / focal point). A meaningful picture can evoke childhood memories
of someone, or something that played a major role in your life. When I saw this 1986 Cadillac Seville
coupe, all I could think about was when I was 7, My grandfather had a car just like this. The color was
Navy blue, with grey leather interior. He would pick me up from my grandmother's house, and we
would spend the whole day riding around. As I remince, I realize that he was a great role model,
because I lacked a father figure. I learned things from him that a dad is supposed to teach his son. To
me that is what makes this picture "Meaningful".
