This is a picture of my friend Ben. He has the most gorgeous hair I have ever seen on anyone! When we were asked to take a picture of something you care about and take your time, I automatically thought of him. Not to friend-zone him or anything, but he is my best friend in the whole world. I love him dearly. And loving your subject is something that adds care and emotion into the image. This is my favorite picture because he took a day off of work to come help me with this assignment. This picture is slanted because in the film world, a slanted shot means that suspense is building or something is wrong. He was heartbroken in this picture (family reasons), you can tell in his eyes. I love taking pictures only of people that I love. That is what truly adds emotion into a picture. I could've just taken a picture of a tree and said that it was "relatable to my childhood" or some crap like that; or I could've done this. I love this man. That is why this picture isn't a failure.
