The top image is my overexposed photo. I chose this one because I liked the fact that you couldn't see the water, just the reflection of the boat and the dock. It was taken at Lake Gaston, and in all my years of going there I had never seen the water so still. The bottom image is my underexposed photo. I chose this image because I liked how the light and shadows played on the glass spires, and I liked the contrast of the light at the bottom of the image to the black at the top.
Unrelated: if you guys are into artsy stuff, the Chihuly exhibit at the VMFA is really cool. That's where the bottom photo's from.
