For some reason, searching through Google's database for examples of close-up photographers did not turn up very many results. However, I was fortunate to discover the artist John Shaw after finding a forum that talked about some macro picture-takers. I chose these images because they, in my opinion, are well-done photographs and can make others feel inspired to emulate these types of photographs due to their simplistic nature and appearance. These actions occur because although the pictures look like they were easily captured, a ton of patience and fine-tuning was required for these images to turn out stunning. In addition to the macro photography of John Shaw, I chose two of his other pictures to show in this post because I wanted to demonstrate how the photographer has a personal impact on my photography.
