Miranda Moriarty, 2.17.13, Images for Critique

My concept for this week was "deforestation". I enjoyed this assignment more than all the others we have done so far. It amazed me while I was actually looking for areas that have been cleared of trees, just how much certain places have changed as I've gotten older.
The first image is of an area that has had the trees torn down very recently, and they have yet to  clean the place up. I wanted an image that captured the fallen trees as well as the trees surrounding the cleared lot. 
The second image I took because it shows a lot that has been cleared for some time, built on, and is still basically barren. They used so much space for such a small structure.
The third image I chose because it shows the beauty of a forest in the wintertime, as well as just how tall these trees are.
