Shannon Richardson, 2/24/2012, Artist Post

The artist that I chose  for this week is Alex Bernasconi.  The artist is Italian and specializes in nature, wildlife, and fine art photography.  He has some of the most amazing images of wildlife that I have ever seen.  I stumbled upon his name after looking on a blog that had a link for the 2011 International Photography Awards (or something of that nature).  Although I love to see vivid colors in images, I can really appreciate the look and feel that an image has when in black and white.  The image of the cheetah below just wouldn't be the same if it were in color.  Of the images that I have chosen, The image of the cheetah and the image of the single elephant are my favorites.
