The artist that I chose this week is Hasan Almasi. I chose this artist because I like his use of selective color and the HDR feature in his artwork. His portfolio shows that he is capable of capturing amazing photos without additional camera features, but his use on certain subjects and scenes just make the image pop. I also noticed that he incorporates his children, himself, and his culture/religion into a lot of his work. This is the artist that I will attempt to mimic. I initially chose a different artist and realized that what I chose would've been just taking the easy way out and that the work was not necessarily worthy of being recaptured or repeated.
