Miranda Moriarty, 2.3.13, Artist Post

Rolfe Horn- artist

 Rolfe Horn's website

Rolfe Horn is a landscape photographer born in California. He uses long exposures to create images like the ones I posted above. I chose these images to post because I liked the contrast in each of them as well as the use of light. The middle images show ways to capture rays of light from two different directions. The top is an example of how a long exposure can make water appear smooth, almost like fog. The bottom image is a long exposure of stars in the sky, as well as a shooting star.
