Harvey Johnson, 2/9/2013 Artist Post Ben Greenberg,

“Richmond Virginia Gallery” is the title of this group of unique works by Ben Greenberg of Charlottesville, VA. I said unique because all of the images were captured in Richmond, Virginia and are one of a kind. The first image is entitled “Richmond Late Afternoon Skyline”, in which a wide angle lens was used, set on a deep depth of field. The next image is entitled “Brandermill Sunset” which was also captured using a wide angle lens in which the focal point is on the sun’s reflection on the river. The third image entitled “Sunset with Boat” was taken using a wide angle lens in which the boat is used as the focal point. Once I reviewed these works of art it was made clear to me that a wide angle lens is necessary in order to capture the grandest beauty in landscape photography.

  1. Love your choice of artist and subject manner. The warmth captured in his images is both beautiful and relaxing. :)
