Amy McVaugh, 2.12.13, This week's interest

     I have been an animal lover since I was a small child. Having been actively involved in multiple aspects of animal rescue, education of responsible pet ownership, and an advocate for animal welfare for many years, I would like to focus on responsible pet ownership and the hardships domestic animals face when humans make irresponsible choices. Sadly, this is a problem that is epidemic across the United States. I will try to capture images that will cause people to think of the commitment that we owe these living creatures prior to purchasing that "cute little puppy".
