Miranda Moriarty, 2.12.13, This Week's Interest

Last week I drove down a road I am very familiar with, but haven't been down in a couple months. While driving, I noticed that a once fully-forested area had been completely torn down to make way for a neighborhood, at least I'm pretty sure that's what the land will be used for. It makes me sad to see places that were once full of trees and life to be turned into wastelands, making way for residential or commercial buildings. My interest for this week is deforestation.
