This week I have chosen Jorn Tomter for my artist of the week. His art first caught my eye with the contrast of colors and shapes. The third picture is a perfect example of different shapes and colors that work together perfectly. Not only did the artist use all the space but they went off canvas. Even though he didn't paint this, he did a great job capturing it with his camera. He went to an "underground" art studio to get a different perspective on art. He got his variety. The first picture amazes me a lot. I have no Idea what these men are about to do with suits on. It just shows that art is beautiful but is also dangerous. The second picture is amazing because it show different types of medication. This also shows two people in the background. Maybe the artists meant to be unknown. The artist of these pictures, Jorn, is currently in London working on another project. I would love to meet him. His pictures are wonderful and eye-opening.
