This week I chose conceptual artist, Jay Gould. I love the images he produces, and find it exciting to feature an artist who is unafraid to mix science with emotion and create stunning images. One of the reasons this excites me is the fact I love learning about science, religions and life in general. When I view his images, for me, it almost combines all three. Both light and shadows often convey human emotions and can create a better understanding or connections between the artist and the viewer. This assignment was very enjoyable as I am slowly gaining a better understanding of how I can connect with my camera and produce the types of images I actually intend to.
