The artist I selected for This week is John Florea. John achieved massive notoriety from has gut
wrenching WWII photos. They often exposed parts of the war that was now often viewed as politically
correct. The things that most war photographers would not dare to photograph was what was most
intriguing to him. I admire his ambition, and his "outside of the box thought process"; which is why
I think he was a great artist.
