Shannon Richardson, 2/3/13, Artist Post

The artist I chose this week was Fabio Nodari .  On the artist's site, there were extremely vivid photos of landscapes and seasides.  I absolutely love the scenes that the artist were able to capture.  I have always been fascinated by sunsets and the beautiful shades of purple, pink, orange, and blue that appear.  Maybe it's my dire need for a vacation that drew me to this artist's photos.  This artists states in his bio that he is not a professional photographer and that he taught himself and used the internet to develop his skill.  There are numerous galleries on the artists page and among them is the HDR gallery.  HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging is a feature that is available on most newer model DSLR cameras.  It basically adds a greater "dynamic range" between the shades of colors and light that are in the photos.  The bottom image is an example of a HDR image.  I believe the HDR effect makes the image look somewhat animated.  The pictures below are HDR.
