I really felt like this week I was able to utilize the tools and knowledge that we have been given so far in our class. The two landscapes were taken at a local reservoir. It was a nice cool day and I saw the boats stored away for the winter and thought that soon they would be floating in the water with people, fishing poles and coolers. My two portraits portray differences in ages and how they are preoccupied by different things. The first portrait is of a girl sitting and listening to her ipod and seems very content. The second portait is of a friend who was distressed by the VCU loss that he had just witnessed. I really focused on using the right settings to make sure that the pictures were properly exposed.
