Heather Green, 3.24.2013, Artist Post

Bryan Schumaat - Artist

I chose these two pictures for different reasons. I love the landscape in the top picture. I've always loved caves and the creatures in them. I didn't find any bats in this picture but I did find a cave that was free of trash. The lighting is dark and underexposed. The initial perspective of caves is grim and dark. The lighting is perfect.

The second picture is a good portrait. You don't see too much of her face but her hair is the main subject. The color is beautiful and natural. The photographer used great depth of field to keep her in focus and the diner out of focus.
