Bryan Schutmaat - Artist
I chose this landscape becasue it actually reminded me of a place ive been to out west and brought back great memories of a trip a few years ago. The image is stunning, crisp and clear, with very deep depth of field and really does an excellent job bringing this scene to life for the viewer.
This image caught my eye among all the rest on the website because of one simple thing, HIS EYES. The image itself is a very basic portrait until you add the emotion the viewer gets from his eyes. You can really get a sense that this guy is going through some shit in his life and Bryan was their to capture that. Or he is a good actor that can make himself cry on command, either way I love the shot.
