Susan Worsham - Artist

Susan Worsham is the photographer we were told to look at for this weeks assignment and critique. The first picture I think is great, the lighting is good and focus is good. I really think the strongest thing about this photo is the look on the young mans face. You can tell he is hurting inside, and just going off the other photos in Susans portfolio I speculate that he was forced to join the Marine Corps to help pay the bills. He is a fresh recruit out of basic looking at the uniform and you can just feel his pain when looking into his eyes. The second picture is strong for one reason the colors of the car, nothing else really jumps out at me except that it is a goofy looking car with a wild paint job on it. The exposure is good to capture enough light from the sunset but not to much that it overpowers the shot.
