After stumbling upon a photography blog while searching for photographers on Google, I discovered Tereza Vlčková. Her photographs are primarily of females between the ages of one to about twenty or older. She also possesses an exhibit that is primarily abstract. The first image more than likely symbolizes a feeling of excitement and hope for the future, since the girl is wearing a white shirt and has a bright hue that surrounds her body. The second image reminds me of the book 1984 because the people in the novel are all forced by the government to be the same and look up to a character called "Big Brother." However, one of the humans in the book tries to be different and does not want to acknowledge "Big Brother." The humans forced to be the same and controlled by the government can be symbolized by the girls wearing the white dresses, while "Big Brother" can be symbolized as the shadow on the stage. In addition, the girl wearing the black dress and facing away from the stage can be the person in 1984 that does not praise "Big Brother." The third image represents how one can shine brightly through others by being different and not following the norm.
