This week we focused on Susan Worsham. I loved her style of photography the pictures can be depicted in so many different ways and they're all the broken kind of beautiful. I chose the top photo as my still life picture. This picture is great to me because it's edgy. The scene that's set up make me wonder what he's looking at, he seems somewhat lost in life or in thought. The background is a beautiful flowering tree that provides a shadowing effect while he is still clearly depicted. The very back background seems like a railraod yard or somewhere that reminds me of the big bridges in Richmond. The fact that he has his shirt off is somewhat strange to me but hey, I can roll with it. The landscape shot that I chose was the picture of the Robert E. Lee Motel. Obviously the building is decayed and out of use and has been for years if not decades. I like the angle she captured the picture in. Ultimately I think that the angle is what made this picture so intresting and such a great landscape for me any way.
